North Arlington Burn Victim Airlifted To Barnabas From Lyndhurst

A North Arlington woman was flown to St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston after she was severely burned Saturday afternoon in a cooking flashover.

An ambulance brought the 45-year-old Madison Street victim to the Riverside County Park field in Lyndhurst, where an AirMed One chopper picked her up shortly before 1 p.m., Capt. Robert Reilly said.

Reilly thanked Hackensack University Medical Center, along with Lyndhurst police, firefighters and Police Emergency Squad members who established the landing zone.
